great vid apart from that I would say his flatspin on tramp was much closer to a bio 5 than flat
What I really learned is: Why paragliders never go to parties? Because they always just want to hang out! 🤣😂🤣
The depth of understanding demonstrated by participants is humbling. It's like being in the presence of intellectual giants.💞
Great video, now I really want it too! Do you have the follow-up video on your paragliding journey?
The level of intellectual curiosity displayed in this thread is contagious. It's a joy to be a part of.😚
You are so right about the ice patch comment. That is the first thing I noticed about learning to angulate. I could easily recover form the unexpected side slip from an ice patch.
INSPIRING! Thank you!
Oh man, i could watch you shred down runs all day. How good and thanks for the tips!
Tried surfing some as an early teen. My fiancé got me a board for my birthday. It’s an 8 footer but im nervous about people judging me in Huntington Beach ca idk imma try my best guess
I skied USSA Freestyle years ago. Mogul specialist. Doing ballet I learned there are EIGHT edges, not just four.
Let's have FUN skiing!
Do I always have to carry a pack?
I really like how genuine and open you (Jens) are. You are a true legend in helping others progress their skiing!
fart jokes, functional falling... worm turns, smear turns/ polish avalment, armpit carving, powder rolls= frivolous unnecessary nonsense= fun. Hula hoops are silly props to employ which enhance frivolous unnecessary nonsense while identifying frames of reference, planes of differential time dilation and cones of probability/ parallelogram law.= functionally understanding nature=fun...
Agreed
Thanks for clear explanation ❤
My advice. Take up paragliding when you are younger and stronger. I started at 63 with some extra weight and not in shape and it took me months. Also if you can afford it, take lessons 4 or more days a week. Not just weekends. If the weather is bad you can go 3-4 weeks without flying. Last practice kiting if you can’t get to a lesson. Kiting is 80% of the work. I found thermaling intutive, I try to think like a hawk. If I feel lift I turn. If I lose lift I try to go back to where the lift was.
I really envy those HUUGE terrain parks you have there!!! Ours aren't nearly as long or extensive here in California :(
Come and try them out :) We get many guests from California each year to our camps.
@@StompItTutorials 25/26 season I'm hoping!!!
Loved the video ! Well done mate
Glad you enjoyed it
Hello, I'm 181cm , 72 kg. Medium skill. I want to buy a pair of Head Supershape e-magnum. Should I buy 163 cm or 170 cm. Thanks you very much
Are the freestyle ski camps also running or just carving?
Right now bookings are open for those two types of camps. Ski Technique and Freestyle.
Sry in advance That really sounded like the phub intro music😅
You are the best!
Nice place for skiing
My skis cant take this
Well done!
Well done and thanks for the video. I'm looking forward to my turn soon. All the way from South Africa ❤
Don’t switch pizza!! Ever
I’m pretty sure it’s called a Lincoln
Ice patch, you carve guys. Take you down.
Nice, helpful video but the music and singing is disturbing.
You sound different 😮
I need to get better at this
Absolute Beauty
It's funny I'm becoming as obsessed about Shifty next season as I was last season for the 180. Upgrading from flex 90 to now flex 140 expert freeride boots certainly help & inspire!
At 5'9 165 lb are 183 skis to big for me😅 am i cooked guys?
Great videos and channel. Thank you!!! BTW, What is the make and model of your jacket in this video?
I picked 160cm for my 167cm and 130lbs so I am a little on the low end but I have been snowboarding for over 10 years so I like to fast and I ended up exactly at 160cm
Started skiing late this winter and just started getting to carving at around 10 days in and man it's a very nice feeling when you get it right.
press WASD and move your mouse invert at same time.
Very good video. Always remember though: 2 Cuts. 1 not enough.
Not sure but i think he's not doing right axis for cork
is this serie still beeing continued?
Hey, where do you ski? What resort is this.
can you carve on normal rental skis?
Use the accelerator on 2nd fly ? Mmmh
Possibly the best beginner surfing tutorial on YT
Tested Tom’s theory this year….feel soooo good..foot feels so relaxed..way more foot/toe feel..no more foot cramps …his analogy makes. Absolute sense …try it
Whats the name of your jacket? It looks very nice
Because of cross under and over skiing I failed the junior class. We had to make pizzas 😅
